TRTGuide (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates a directory platform that helps users find and connect with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) clinics. We also offer an AI-powered Symptom Checker tool that provides general health information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our website.

When you use TRTGuide, we may collect:

This information is collected when you:

  • Submit a request to be contacted by a clinic
  • Fill out forms on our website

Symptom Checker Information

When you use the TRT Symptom Checker, we collect information you provide during the assessment conversation, including:

  • Symptoms you describe in your own words
  • Age and ZIP code
  • Any other health-related details you voluntarily share during the conversation

This information is used solely to generate your assessment results and is not used for marketing or advertising purposes.

Automatically Collected Information

We may collect basic technical data such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device information
  • Pages visited

This helps us improve performance and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Connect you with TRT clinics
  • Process and deliver your inquiry
  • Generate symptom assessment results using automated AI tools
  • Deliver assessment results to your email address if you request it
  • Improve our website and services
  • Communicate with you if necessary

3. How Your Information Is Shared

Clinic Inquiries

Important: When you submit a request through TRTGuide, your information may be shared with one or more clinics.

Specifically:

  • Your inquiry may be sent to clinics listed on our platform
  • Clinics may contact you directly via phone, email, or SMS

In some cases, TRTGuide may distribute your inquiry to multiple clinics to help you receive responses more quickly.

We may receive compensation from clinics for these introductions.

Symptom Checker Data

Symptom Checker responses are processed using third-party AI services (currently OpenAI) to generate your assessment. These services process your responses as needed to produce results. OpenAI API inputs are not used to train their models.

Symptom Checker data is not shared with clinics unless you separately choose to submit an inquiry to a clinic through our directory.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Directory Inquiries

We store submitted inquiries and related data in our systems. We retain this information to operate and improve our services and for internal business purposes.

Symptom Checker Data

Symptom Checker data, including your conversation transcript and assessment results, is retained for 24 hours to allow you to review or email your results. After 24 hours, this data is automatically and permanently deleted from our systems.

If you choose to email your results, the email is delivered to the address you provide. TRTGuide does not retain a copy of the sent email content after the 24-hour retention period.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services to operate TRTGuide, including:

  • AI processing services (currently OpenAI) to generate Symptom Checker assessments
  • Mapping services (e.g., Google Maps) for clinic location data
  • Email or communication providers to deliver messages and assessment results
  • Payment processing (Stripe) for paid services

These services process limited data as required to function. We do not sell your personal information or health-related data to any third party.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies to:

  • Improve website performance
  • Understand how users interact with the site

Future updates may include analytics tools to better understand usage patterns.

7. Your Choices

By submitting your information through TRTGuide:

  • You consent to being contacted by one or more clinics
  • You understand your information may be shared as described above

If you do not wish to be contacted, please do not submit your information.

Symptom Checker

  • Use of the Symptom Checker requires acknowledging the medical disclaimer before starting an assessment
  • Assessment data is automatically deleted after 24 hours
  • You may close the session at any time without completing the assessment

8. Affiliate Links and Compensation

TRTGuide may display links to third-party products and services, including at-home testing kits. If you purchase through these links, TRTGuide may earn a commission. These links are informational and do not constitute a medical recommendation. Affiliate relationships do not influence the content of your Symptom Checker assessment.

9. Health Information

TRTGuide is not a healthcare provider and is not subject to HIPAA. The Symptom Checker collects health-related information that you voluntarily provide. This information is:

  • Used only to generate your assessment results
  • Processed by third-party AI services as described in Section 5
  • Retained for no more than 24 hours, then permanently deleted
  • Not used for marketing, advertising, or profiling
  • Not sold to or shared with third parties for their own purposes

We encourage you to review the medical disclaimers presented before and during use of the Symptom Checker. The Symptom Checker is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, and does not create a provider-patient relationship.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

11. Children’s Privacy

TRTGuide is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
